Our non-medical home care services allow people to stay within the comfort of their own homes, providing an alternative to nursing homes or assisted living centers. While this isn't always possible in every situation, home is still the most comfortable place to be.
Because you are in your own home, you are in charge of deciding how many hours you need to have a Care Giver and what your daily schedule should be. Our Director, Mary Plotkin LPN, can help you to make choices if you are needing some guidance, but ultimately the final decisions are yours. Our Director will personally come to your home for your initial assessment. At this time she likes to meet with the family and the care recipient. Every client is unique with individual needs. Mary can guide you with your decision as to whether non-medical home care is the right choice for you and help you to come up with a schedule to suit your needs regarding personal home care and your budget. Mary likes to sit with the family and make out a list of duties for the Care Giver, so there are no assumptions as to what is expected when on the job. After care is started, she is always available to discuss any changing needs as they may arise. We offer the flexibility of adding or decreasing hours as services are being provided. Your loved one's care is only a phone call away. Unlike most agencies, Mary or Danielle, Mary's daughter and Administrator of Hearts of Gold, are almost always the ones who will actually answer the phone!
We do everything it takes to keep you comfortable and safe in your own home!
